Summary:

In this role, you will acquire data through the design, maintenance, and implementation of scripts and automated processes meant to retrieve data from various sources. You will use data to meet members' needs for information and compare data unique to metrics for clinical, operational, and financial performance. You will perform advanced technical tasks to support team functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced technical tasks to support team functions as assigned by their supervisor.

  • Ensure quality data flow into benchmarking tools and reports to meet challenges and improve efficiency to remain competitive in the marketplace.

  • Work directly with customers, regarding data acquisition through the successful implementation of quality Vizient offerings utilizing strong technical and analytical skills.

  • Lead conversations with customer business and technical representatives with regard to all data aspects of new facility implementations.

  • Understand and analyze facilities' inbound data files, including payroll, contract labor, charge detail, productivity, position control and other data. Identify where facilities' data meets requirements and where and why it does not.

  • Define and gather requirements for successful engagement completion or product implementation.

  • Build configurations, business rules, and data mapping using internal Vizient tools.

  • Document detailed data import scripting, business rule configuration, workflow, and production job control specifications.

  • Test data import and workflow and be a point person for data acquisition updates.

  • Work with facility project team and IT personnel to coordinate the receipt and import of historical and on-going daily data into the database.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required.

  • Proficient in using SQL query language to access SQL Server databases.

  • Proficient in leveraging SSIS (SQL Services Integration Services) to automate and streamline processes.

  • Ability to clean, preprocess, and transform large datasets through data manipulation and transformations.

  • Comprehensive knowledge in healthcare industry practices preferred including workforce, productivity, and labor management concepts and data (e.g., payroll, volume, and productivity data).

  • Experience with Power BI preferred.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$77,400.00 - $115,050.00
