Halff has an immediate opening for a Right of Way Agent in our Richardson, TX office. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 3 years of experience working in the Right of Way industry. Right of Way Agent Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate with landowners or their representatives.
  • Resolve title defects and document the correspondence with landowners.
  • Review appraisal reports and answer property owner questions concerning the methodology of establishing value.
  • Compose and assemble offer packages, conveyance documents, and any documents necessary to clear title.
  • Attend closings.
  • Discuss relocation benefits and eligibility in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Assistant Act with those individuals that qualify.
  • Assist with moving arrangements, analyze inventory, and identify and resolve personal property issues as well as coordinate and review move estimates.
  • Request reviews and approvals for the submission of relocation claims and maintain files.
  • Prepare eminent domain packages for submittal to acquiring agency.
  • Condemnation coordination and support.
Right of Way Agent Preferred Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience working in the Right of Way industry
  • Texas Real Estate License
  • Bachelor's Degree in relatable field
