Summary:

The Senior Coordinator - Corporate Support will be responsible for working with internal and external resources to support the Property Tax department with tasks including processing mail, tax research, tax payments, and administrative tasks. The department supports the partnership's key objectives with the highest standards of conduct without compromise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle, organize, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Perform research in connection with and help prepare responses to notices from jurisdictions.
  • Communicate with internal and external personnel regarding property taxes and other matters.
  • Research and assist with property tax inquires including tax issues, accounts, liens, and the addition of new entities/locations/assets.
  • Process and coordinate vendor payments and refund check coding.
  • Prepare and post wires for payment of taxes, including coding to correct general ledger accounts.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support for the Tax Department.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent research skills using various websites and internal systems.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Desire to developing and understanding of the business.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in a virtual environment (e.g., via phone, web/videoconference)
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm to help create and sustain a positive work environment and outstanding culture.
  • Adherence to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.

Software Knowledge:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
  • Experience with SAP and OpenText desirable.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
