The Transit Control Lead monitors workflow and provides guidance to Operations personnel, which includes but not limited to Exceptions, Wires, ACH, Remittance, Oil & Gas and Item Processing; ensures effective, efficient, and quality work is produced according to department standards and procedures; provides assistance in resolving complex problems, both internal and external; makes recommendations to supervisor regarding policy and procedures; assumes responsibility for training staff and establishing/implementing and reviewing departmental policies and procedures; reports monthly operational statistics to management; performs as a backup for employees on leave; works on special projects, bank acquisitions, and mergers as assigned.
You will work in a fast-paced, exciting environment. At times, you'll work independently, while other times, you'll engage with your team. Self-motivation is key.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associates Degree or higher in Business related field of study and 3-5 years in bank operations, preferably Bank Operations or 6-8 years' equivalent combination of education and experience.
