Under general supervision of the Public and Media Relations Office, this position promotes Parks and Recreation activities, programs and events. This is accomplished by generating and managing content for social media posts and campaigns, creating digital newsletters, designing and producing print materials, updating digital marketing displays and other media platforms. Other duties include graphic design, photography, and short-form video, as well as meeting with other City of Allen departments on cross-promotion efforts, supporting special events, and responding to resident and visitor communication. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
