Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operating Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting all engineering and critical operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of mission-critical and data center functions. Your strong background in building systems and equipment will be crucial in delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
* Preventative Maintenance (PM): Manage and execute PM programs for critical and non-critical operations, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and water treatment. Ensure all PM activities are properly documented using Corrigo CMMS system.
* Vendor Management: Assist in developing specifications for outsourced work and collaborate with third-party vendors for smooth execution.
* After-Hours Support: Provide on-call and after-hours support functions to promptly address emergencies and ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Plant Operations and Repairs: Demonstrate proficiency in handling various support systems like HVAC, pneumatic/DDC controls, and electrical plant operation, performing advanced plant operations and repairs.
* Engineering Management: Assist the lead Engineer and others in handling high-level engineering management tasks and activities, providing valuable support.
* Team Management: Support and guide engineering staff assigned to support facilities, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to standards.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily rounds, readings, and maintenance activities. Utilize advanced PC software for creating reports, technical manuals, and presentations.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry practices, attend monthly training sessions, and contribute to improving processes and efficiency.

Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of equipment installations.
* Thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, BAS, and fire life safety systems.
* Familiarity with real estate practices, including surveys and environmental assessments.
* Proficiency in engineering practices, design specifications, and technical manuals.
* Ability to utilize advanced PC software, computers, phones, and BAS / EMS software.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work on call and overtime, to include evening and weekend hours based on client needs.
