This role is based at Columbia Sportswear's headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Our hybrid work model is based on in-person collaboration Tuesday through Thursday of each week.

As the Ecomm Digital Production Designer II you will support the amplification of assets needed to deliver a personalized site and email experience to our customers. Here you play an important role in managing the negotiations with our brand marketing creative partners in developing digitally centric / e-commerce focused photography assets needed to support personalization. Within this role you will adapt imagery, and author site promotions, emails and other content within our web content management system. Your work will be based on shopping history, weather, location, and other personalized variables.

You will also have the opportunity to research and adopt new AI assist tools into our workflow, developing best practices toward efficiency in production process in support of personalized content.

  • Drive site enhancement and ideas using industry best practices and emerging trends

  • Partner with other creative teams to ensure cohesive look and feel in all digital consumer material across enterprise, communicating design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients

  • Anticipate and provide solutions for design improvements and opportunities across various digital platforms

  • Review final decks with an exacting eye, ensuring layout, images, and typography meet design standards

  • Maintain best practices for web, digital design, and user experience design

YOU ARE

  • Capable of delivering high quality design at volume within fast paced project timelines

  • Detail minded

  • Accomplished in free hand drawing

  • An excellent communicator, establishing positive working relationships across various partner levels and fields of expertise

YOUHAVE

  • 2-4 years of Design experience, Bachelor's degree in interactive or Visual Design preferred

  • Experience in web development and content management systems, including Adobe Creative Suite, Experience Manager (AEM), and CSS

  • Applied knowledgeable of computer design software and efficiency working in the MAC OS work environment

  • Intermediate prototyping ability within Figma

  • Intermediate experience in art directing, studio and on-location photoshoots with digital needs, and best practices
