About the Role

As an Advanced Manufacturing Technician - Quality Assurance at our Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Columbia, Missouri you will be part of the Quality Team and lead the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) and Calibration processes. This position will be responsible for ensuring customer RMA requests and RMA investigations are completed and exceed the delivery expectations of customers. This position will also be responsible for leading efforts to ensure measurement equipment and tooling remain within calibration by working with other functional teams and external calibration service provider to coordinate and complete site calibration events.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Review Customer Returned Material Authorization (RMA) requests, communicate RMA approve or decline decision to customer, and provide technical support to customer to resolve application or improper product use cases.
  • Coordinates with functional team (operations, engineering, etc.) completion of RMA investigations within required customer delivery expectations.
  • Communicates RMA Investigation Results to Customer.
  • Work with functional teams and calibration service provider to schedule and complete calibration of existing measurement equipment and tooling prior to calibration expiration.
  • Ensure new measurement equipment and tooling is calibrated by calibration service provider prior to initial use.
  • Manage and update calibration database and monitor overall performance of the calibration system.
  • Performs internal, product, process, and equipment audits, maintain logs, and analyzes data.
  • Assists team members with Testing and Inspection Methods.
  • Assists in disposition of non-conforming products and components.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High-school graduate/GED.
  • Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills.
  • Computer Skills (Excel, Word, MACPAC, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels including verbal, written and email.

Desired Qualifications

  • Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years)
  • Experience directly communicating with Customers and Suppliers
