About the Team:

WEX is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join their growing global Risk and Compliance organization, supporting the overall compliance and risk management program for WEX Health.The successful candidate will act as a resource to assist in the building, support, and maintenance of a consistent and scalable regulatory framework for WEX Health, with a particular focus on supporting direct and partner services across WEX Health.Interacting with WEX Health internal teams and partners, the ideal candidate will provide quality support including compliance interpretations and clarifications, problem-solving, and compliance program execution; building compliance frameworks for new products and initiatives; and general compliance function support.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Intake, triage, research and prepare risk assessments and responses to privacy incidents for review by team leadership.

  • Drive process improvement developed from corrective action plans created from privacy incident responses.

  • Assist in preparations of reporting for monthly and quarterly meetings with the Compliance Committee and Privacy Officer.

  • Testing business processes for regulated activity to include Reg CC, Reg E, UDAAP rules.

  • Assists and supports the organization in complying with, as well as the ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of conformance to, the requirements of government regulations and/or regulatory agencies.

  • Performs evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to regulatory compliance and recommends appropriate changes.

  • Assist in review of vendor risk assessments for Compliance requirements of all contracted relationships.

  • Assist team leadership in providing proactive and timely responses to state and federal agency requests.

  • Assist with developing processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in review of compliance-related content included in employee training and education.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.Experience in Compliance, Legal, or a related position is preferred.

  • Compliance experience with:

    • HIPAA Privacy Rule;

    • Benefit plans and reimbursement accounts including health flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, dependent care assistance programs, transit programs, and lifestyle spending accounts;

    • COBRA;

    • Banking Regulations

    • Employee benefit administration software and services;

    • Health plan reporting under Affordable Care Act and Internal Revenue Code; and

    • Medicare Advantage and Medicaid flexible benefits.

  • Ability to prioritize based on leadership directives.

  • Research and summarize regulatory requirements.

  • Adaptable and comfortable working collaboratively and independently

  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze problems and develop creative, practical and efficient solutions.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to learn and own issues

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write clear and concise communications.

  • Ability to apply strong problem solving skills and excellent judgment to develop practical, business-oriented solutions.

  • Ability to build strong internal relationships that foster open communications and to act as a resource on compliance and risk issues.

  • High ethical standards.

  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to maintain a high level of technical expertise and keep abreast of key compliance and company developments.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $62,000.00 - $82,000.00
