Responsible for layout activities for the company's vertical concrete construction projects throughout the U.S.

Apply knowledge of Safety, Schedule, Quality, Production (SSQP) goals and collaborate with project leadership to identify improvement ideas.

Contribute to effective project management through daily observations and communication.

Interface daily with the client and project management to resolve tolerance conflicts and field constructability issues.

Accurately maintain all physical site dimensions and controls.

Responsible for accurate layout of building location and dimensions throughout the project.

Establish procedures and coordinate with the client to define primary survey points and transfer control on the site.

Establish procedures to maintain control and communication to individual layout crews.

Ensure implementation of procedures to adequately provide layout methods and check/ re-check.

Calculate and monitor concrete hold quantities on a daily basis.

Review construction documents for accuracy, deviations, and conflicts and write clarification requests accordingly.

Review field notes and documentation generated by survey or layout crews.

Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies.

Communicate changes and maintenance of technical drawings, as-builts, and clarification logs.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management
- 2 years of onsite layout and line & grade experience for concrete construction projects. The required experience must include 2 years of experience with mechanical and robotic total stations, auto levels, and lasers; 2 years of experience interpreting construction drawings; and 2 years of experience calculating mathematical amounts such as triangles, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
